Spring of '97

Her 1st Birthday! She was not too sure what to do so mom had to show her.

Madiysn FINALLY reached 14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She has been so anxious to be 14 so she could start wearing make-up and more importantly, start going to the stake dances!

Sadly for her, it fell on a Tuesday which is one of our busiest days of the week. But we were able to squeeze in a special dinner for her at a restaurant of her choice. Fernley doesn't have many choices so she chose the Chinese Buffet.

We had a made a birthday plan that we would go into Reno and go to Olive Garden and go get a make over at Ulta Cosmetics. It was planned for the Saturday after her birthday, but my Unlce Lincoln passed away and I had to go to AZ that weekend. We were still able to go a few weeks later though.

Here she is getting all gussied up.

Maddie took this silly picture. When she went and got her contacts in August the Dr. gave her a demo set of colored contacts. This is the only picture that turned out even half way desent of her with blue eyes.

I LOVE her BROWN eyes just the way they are!
