When I talked to Rashelle yesterday they were trying to ween him off of the oxygen but she was not real hopeful because in one of the tests they found pneumonia bacteria and so have started treating him for pneumonia and told her that they will probably have stay in the hospital for another 7-10 days. We are all praying that that will not have to happen. As well as that the doctors will be able to find out why he is having such trouble and how to fix it so he can go home.
Thank goodness for a wonderful family. From what I understand Claryce and her family have mostly been taking care of the three big kids that go to school and the little 4 year old Kyson is down in the Valley. At first he was in St. Johns but he was just having too hard of a time so he came down and stayed with Travis's brother and went and back and forth to the hospital to see Rashelle. Now my mom and dad have come and are taking him out to Maricopa with them and will bring him in to see Rashelle. That just started yesterday so I hope it works out well.

Hey this was great, however, there are no abnormality in the lungs, just the broncial tube.
Also, Shurell has actually had the kids the majority of the time at night (since she is the only one without a hubby home during the week) She took them to PHX Fri, Sat, Sun Sept 12-14. (They were getting pretty homesick to see their Mom and Chase.) As Travis leaves at 5am the weeks he works, they are staying with her much of the time, while he is in Phx and when he has to go to work early.
Chase came out of the hospital 9-18-08 and is in Maricopa at our home (with his parents) for a couple of days to be sure everything is ok. Then home to St Johns on Monday. He has gained quite a bit of weight and looks great!!!
He's on a 24 hr feeding tube, and probably will have to be on oxygen much of the time while in St. Johns, but everyone is excited to have him home
Claryce has been wonderful to take Kyson during the day and Melody and Peter go to her home after school until the older kids get home and Jaime (the girl living with Claryce and Karson) takes all to Rashelle's for homework and dinner.
Tracy and KayLynn (Travis' sister-in-law) have been wonderful to pitch in too.
What a blessing it is to have so much family in town. It has made a bad situation bearable, and not too taxing on anyone.
The Relief Society brought dinner in one week, but everyone was so scattered out that they had to track the family down to feed them!!! What fantasitic dedication
We are so blessed
