A Great Weekend!!!

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. All of Roger's family was able to come to our place for the celebration. Reese and Sue came in from Burley Wednesday evening and were followed by Doug and Stephanie with their children Aren, Ryan and Nicole late Wednesday night. Don and Teresa and their children Eric, Brandon, Melissa and Alex came up from Las Vegas on Thursday night. Were were excited because many of them had not been to our new place yet. We of course did not end up getting all of the remodeling projects done but we had a pretty good showing.

Thursday Doug decided to tackle the counter top tile project. He was able to get the backer board all down and he and Roger dry placed, cut and set most of the counters by midnight. Once Don and Teresa got here they called it quits and went to bed. I was so excited to have another project on it's way to being done.

Friday we had a great time celebrating the 4th. Then Saturday we went into the Sparks Marina for the day. It was a really great time. Then that night we took the adults out to a new Sushi restaurant in town. It was a whole new experience for the Idaho crowd. But they all said they enjoyed it. Teresa had gone on a mission to Japan so she was very excited to get a chance to enjoy sushi.

Sunday we had morning church so it was an adventure getting 19 people to church by 9:00am with just two bathrooms, but we did it. It was a Kunzler day, Jake up was ordained as a Teacher and I was sustained as the Enrichment Counselor in the Relief Society and Sam had a talk in Primary. After Church we came home and took some family group pictures, sadly our kids wouldn't comply very well so we didn't end up with one of us. Afterwards we had a great roast dinner and then Teresa and Stephanie's family headed home. Reese and Sue left early the next morning and we were all alone again. We miss everyone and wish they could have stayed longer. We are very glad they took the time to come see us.
